MWC 2026 Highlights with IPT PowerTech

At MWC 2026 in Barcelona, we participated in a week of meaningful conversations about the future of telecom energy. As networks continue to expand and digital demand accelerates, the industry is increasingly focused on building infrastructure that is not only scalable but also energy efficient and resilient. During the event, we demonstrated how smarter energy architectures can support the next generation of telecom networks while helping operators manage costs, reliability, and sustainability requirements.
During the event, IPT PowerTech presented its EDGE Data Center solution, designed to bring modular, energy-efficient computing power closer to the network edge. By enabling localized processing, the solution supports 5G expansion, AI-driven workloads, and low-latency applications, while maintaining operational efficiency. We also introduced our ESCO calculation model, a practical framework that helps operators and tower companies assess the financial and operational benefits of transitioning to Energy-as-a-Service. The discussions throughout the week highlighted a clear industry direction: as telecom networks evolve, their energy infrastructure must evolve with them. Smarter, more sustainable power models will play a central role in supporting the next phase of telecom growth.
