The Challenge
Delivering High-Availability Infrastructure at Scale
The client required a Tier III data center capable of supporting high-density IT loads with strict uptime requirements. The challenge was to design and deploy a fully redundant infrastructure ensuring continuous operation, efficient cooling, and real-time monitoring. The facility needed to support 240 kW IT load, maintain resilience across all systems, and provide scalability within a constrained footprint, while meeting international standards for reliability, safety, and operational continuity.
The Solution
Fully Redundant Tier III Architecture
IPT PowerTech delivered a complete infrastructure solution covering power, cooling, safety, and monitoring systems. The power architecture includes 3 x 700 kVA diesel generators (N+2), 2 x 200 kVA UPS systems (1+1 redundancy with maintenance bypass), and modular DC systems (2 x 96 kW, 1+1 configuration), ensuring uninterrupted supply. Utility integration is supported by a 1500 kVA substation with automatic transfer switching. Cooling is managed through 8 x 56 kW precision DX units with N+1 redundancy, combined with perimeter cooling and hot aisle containment for optimized thermal performance. Fire protection is secured through a NOVEC 1230 suppression system, while biometric access control, video surveillance, and a centralized DCIM platform provide real-time monitoring of energy, assets, and environmental conditions.
Results
Reliable, Scalable, and High-Performance Data Center Operations
The deployed infrastructure ensures Tier III-level availability, supporting 70 IT racks within a 210 m² white space. Redundant power and cooling systems provide continuous uptime and operational resilience, while the DCIM platform enables precise monitoring and optimization. The facility delivers efficient energy management, enhanced security, and scalable capacity, positioning the client to support growing digital workloads with long-term reliability.
