Accelerating EDGE Infrastructure Deployment
To support Morocco’s expanding digital ecosystem, the client required a high-performance data center that could be deployed rapidly, operate with high availability, and scale seamlessly as demand grows. Traditional brick-and-mortar construction was too time-consuming and inflexible for EDGE applications. The challenge was to deliver a fully functional, Tier III-compliant facility with robust computing capacity and operational autonomy — within a compressed timeline and limited on-site construction window.
The Solution
A Fully Prefabricated Tier III Modular Facility
IPT PowerTech engineered and delivered a 180 m² prefabricated modular data center in Morocco, composed of five factory-built modules designed for plug-and-play deployment. Built under a Full Turnkey (FTK) model, the project covered design, structural, electrical, HVAC, and fire systems. The facility supports 180 kW IT load, integrates UPS systems for 15-minute autonomy, and is configured under Tier III topology for high redundancy and uptime. The modular design enables phased expansion, allowing the client to scale capacity efficiently while maintaining energy-efficient performance and minimal OPEX.
