Limited Visibility and High Operational Costs

Managing more than 7'000 telecom sites across diverse geographies presented major operational challenges. The client faced difficulties in monitoring power systems, managing fuel and batteries, and responding promptly to site alarms. Manual inspections were costly, inefficient, and delayed corrective actions, directly affecting network uptime and energy performance. The operator needed a centralized, data-driven solution to optimize operations and reduce maintenance costs across its network.

The Solution

Centralized RMS for Real-Time Network Intelligence

IPT PowerTech implemented a comprehensive Remote Monitoring System (RMS) across the client’s nationwide network. IoT-enabled sensors were deployed to monitor fuel levels, battery health, power consumption, and environmental conditions in real time. The solution integrated legacy generator controllers and consolidated all site data into a centralized monitoring platform, providing full visibility of energy systems, racks, and cooling performance. Automated alarms, threshold-based alerts, and predictive reporting enabled maintenance teams to take proactive action. This integration-ready architecture also supports seamless future expansions and new IoT sensor deployments, ensuring long-term scalability and reliability.
