IPT PowerTech Group delivers specialized solutions to the power, industrial and telecom sectors in the Middle East, Africa and neighboring countries. Since our inception in Lebanon in 1993, we have grown into a leading group, combining power expertise with telecom infrastructure specialization. Today, we are market leaders in providing power solutions and specialty batteries, telecom infrastructure and managed services.

Our self-manufactured enclosures have allowed us to successfully implement and create new concepts in space and energy efficiency and site renovation, and have further allowed us to create customized energy efficient/hybrid and renewable energy solutions.

Our ability to combine Innovation in Energy Savings Solutions with Telecom Infrastructure and field Managed Services, led to the conception of our UNIQUE Value proposition: Guaranteed Savings Model and T-ESCO Model.

Headquartered in Beirut, Lebanon, IPT PowerTech has expanded its presence to the entire region and is now present in 11 countries. Ahmad Nabil Z. Haddad


Ahmad Nabil Z. Haddad is the founder and CEO of the IPT PowerTech Group, a global authority that specializes in the delivery of energy-efficient and infrastructure solutions to power, industrial and telecom sectors across the Middle East, Africa, and Southeast Asia.

He has led a radical transformation of IPT PowerTech, from a Lebanese-based automotive power distributor to a global solutions provider with state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Romania and Lebanon, with offices in 11 countries and more than 4,500 specialists in the field.

IPT PowerTech has also extensively played a significant role in developing leading technology solutions in line with existing and future needs of the telecom infrastructure industry under his leadership.

Nabil played a major role in IPT PowerTech’s success as the largest global provider of a portfolio of hybrid solution, the “global leader in the T-ESCO model” as well as “the next frontier for offering Towercos and MNOs with more efficient and economical solutions."

He received several awards from several humanitarian organization in recognition of his contributions to the telecom sector's development in Africa and the Middle East.

Nabil holds a Master’s Degree in Economics from the American University of Beirut (AUB).

Mohamad Khaled Al Haffar Al Habbal


Prior to joining IPT PowerTech Group as a Vice President, COO and shareholder, Mohamad Khaled Al Haffar Al Habbal started his career in the UAE where he spent over a decade at the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector.

Khaled Habbal, with his substantial management experience, has led IPT PowerTech’s expansion to extend the company's reach into the international market further and improve its portfolio. His technical vision has contributed to the Group’s recognition as the leading T-ESCO worldwide, making it the global pioneer of flexible operating models to the towercos and MNOs.

Khaled Habbal led the Group’s vertical integration through the acquisition of Stratum Enclosures in 2009 and Linfra Holding in 2010, a telecom infrastructure company with 11 offices in Africa. As part of a market penetration strategy in Southeast Asia,Khaled launched Linfra Myanmar in Yangon in 2014, and it is now considered a hub for the Asian Market. In October 2017, Khaled pursued the Group’s strategic expansion plan in the Middle East through the acquisition of “Shabakkat KSA”; with a workforce of 1,800 specialists that handle the most complex projects in KSA and neighboring countries.

Khaled holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the American University of Beirut (AUB).

Assem Nawam

Managing Director

Assem El-Nawam is the co-founder of the IPT PowerTech Group, and the Managing Director of PowerTech SARL, the Group’s Automotive Division specialized in Batteries for all applications, Tires, Lubricants and other automotive-related products.

PowerTech SARL being the Group’s first company and the stepping stone for a longer term success, Assem translated the Company’s Vision of “Empowering lives with a better future in the automotive & power solutions” into actions and goals, and has solidified the Group’s position as a leading distributor & batteries specialist in Lebanon; a solid foundation upon which the global Telecom infrastructure business was built. 

Bringing more than 30 years of experience in the Automotive & Power industries, Assem established the Energy Division under PowerTech SARL in 2010, to emphasize on high-end solutions in the Back-Up Power & Renewable Energy Systems, expanding further the operations within Lebanon and MENA region, all while leading the product development and driving sales growth which allowed the Energy Division to become a leader in its field.

Assem received several awards from largest world-renown providers in the Automotive & Power industries, in recognition of his substantial efforts & achievements in business growth and market expansion.

Assem El-Nawam holds a BS degree from the Lebanese American University (LAU), School of Business.

Marwan Khoury

General Manager- Power Division

Marwan Khoury is the General Manager of the Power Division and has spent over 18 years at IPT PowerTech, managing the Group’s presales, sales, research and development, design, technical and business development activities in Lebanon and across all our operations.

Ever since he joined the company at an entry-level position, Marwan, a 21-year veteran, has gone on to play a significant role in IPT PowerTech’s expansion and is now a key contributor in the transformation of business models into full-service turnkey solutions.

Marwan played a role in the initiation and implementation of several hybrid concepts as well as all the power solutions, all the way to displaying the largest portfolio of telecom hybrid solutions – the group’s main strength and distinction factor.

Marwan Khoury holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Balamand.

Gabriel Bou Gebrael

General Manager- Telecom Service Division

Gabriel Bou Gebrael – General Manager of the ESCO Division – is a 23-years veteran with a wide technical experience in the Telecom industry. He has worked for some of the largest Telecom organizations and MNO’s in the Africa and Middle East region, he held managerial roles in projects that encompasses deploying telecom infrastructures  and rendering related services across emerging markets in Armenia, Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia.

Since he joined the IPT PowerTech Group in 2008, Gabriel held several executive roles delivering network rollouts and managed services across Myanmar, Nigeria, Republic of Guinea, Iraq, Lebanon… .

Gabriel’s contributions have been central to the growth of the group’s operation and maintenance services, and he actively collaborates with the senior management as the T-ESCO model’s architect.

Gabriel Bou Gebrael holds a Degree in Telecom Engineering from the Engineering School of Saint Joseph University.

Sami El Ladan

Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Sami El Ladan was appointed CFO of IPT PowerTech Group in 2012 and have held several financial and managerial positions in leading Telecom companies in Africa such as investcom, MTN Ghana and MTN Benin, where he headed the Financial Planning Department.

Before joining IPT PowerTech, Sami El Ladan held the CFO roles for both Africell and Twama in the Gambia and Comoros.

A true professional with substantial management experience, Sami has over 22 years’ experience in Africa’s emerging Market/Telecom industry, and this has played a crucial role in IPT PowerTech’s expansion across the continent.

Sami El Ladan holds a double major in Accounting and Management from the Beirut Arab University (BAU).

Eli Mattar

Chief Strategy Officer

Eli Mattar, a finance professional with over 15 years of financial services experience, joined IPT PowerTech in 2018 in the capacity of Chief Strategy Officer and has been a main contributor to the company’s growth. Before joining IPT, Eli Mattar occupied the role of CFO at the Middle East Venture Partners (MEVP) & Euro Mena Funds.

Eli Mattar holds a Bachelor degree in Business Administration with specialization in Finance & Accounting from the American University of Beirut (AUB) and is a CPA.

Ali Kobeissi

Group Head of Internal Audit

With an experience that extends over 28 years of audit practice in various regional and international organizations like Arthur Andersen, Byblos Bank S.A.L, UNDP and DFID, Ali Kobeissi is the Head of Group Internal Audit who is also a highly skilled professional in leading and establishing internal audit departments across numerous industries.

Ali Kobeissi graduated from the Lebanese American University with a Bachelor degree in Business Accounting (BBA). He is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), has a License in Certification in Control Self-Assessment (CCSA), holds an “Accreditation in Internal Quality Assessment / Valuation” from The Institute of Internal Auditors (The IIA) and is an active member of this institute.

Shereen Abou Daya

Human Resources & Administration Manager

Shereen Abou Daya has been the IPT PowerTech Group’s Human Resources & Administration Manager since November 2012. With vast experience in the Private Banking sector and Human Resources functions, Shereen is responsible for creating IPT PowerTech’s Human Resource Department, which addresses all HR issues faced by all employees within the Group.

Among the responsibilities of Shereen’s department are talent acquisition, staff evaluation, employee relations, management of compensation and benefits, employee training and development.

Shereen Abou Daya holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business from the Lebanese American University. She is also a Certified Human Resources Professional by the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM).

Stephanie Ayoub

Marketing Manager

Stephanie Ayoub was appointed Group Marketing Manager of IPT PowerTech in June 2016. Since assuming the position of Marketing Manager, Stephanie has played a vital role in establishing an international exposure for the Group in various exhibitions and congresses.

Stephanie oversees the management of tactical Marcom strategies for the Group and its subsidiaries in critical areas. Stephanie’s experience in the Telecom domain is extensive, as she previously held several roles such as Marketing and Communications Specialist.

Stephanie Ayoub holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business Management from the University of Notre Dame Louaize, and a certified digital marketing specialist.
